It was cloudy but some how still bright on the hill where I stood. I looked out over a valley onto The Canyons Mountain Resort. I could see every run in the resort very clearly. Nothing was hidden behind other mountains. This view of The Canyons was so good that they used it on their ski map. Today the clouds covered the top half of the mountains. On the opposite side of the horizon it was nearly cloudless and the sun was just rising. The angle of the sun also illuminated large patches of The Canyons. When I Turned slightly I could see Park City Ski Resort. The runs were half covered in snow and the exposed parts were brown because no plants had been able to grow yet. Jupiter Peak rose above the other mountains. One side of it was still entirely covered in snow while the other had only a few small patches near the bottom. If I were to continue turning I would see mountains in every direction. All brown with random patches of snow.
It was cloudy and looked as if it had just rained. The rive ran wildly through the river bed. Some plants had been caught up in the rushing river. The plant along the river were green and the rocks were rounded. Lots of water was spilling over a small waterfall upstream in the river.
