This bird was impossible to photograph because it was very hyper and only sat still for about a second before jumping away. To get this pic I had to be lucky enough to have my camera focused on the right spot before the bird got there.

This bird is a hepatic tanedger (ya thats an awsome name) and it is a rare bird. In this picture it is collecting nesting materials.

This is my favorit european starling pic ever!!!! I shot this on one of my first days with my dads camera and I was really proud of it.

This pic was cool because the two canyon wrens just sat there like that the whole time that we were there. One thing that I wonder is how they stand on the cactus and not get stabbed by its needles.

This bird is called an Elogant Trogan. It is wery rare and we only found it because it nests in this same place every year.

This is an Anna's Humming Bird. It is not really that color that was just the way that the light was hitting him.

This bird surprised us because usually road runners are hard to photograph. This one wasn't. He lived near are camp ground and ran through every day at about 4:oo. He wasn't shy and would run around all of the campsites very slowly. me and my dad were so surprised to see him that we each shot like 15 pics of him. This was the best one and ofcorse I took it.
These are Turkey vultures. That is a dead elephant seal. It may look cool but it smelled terrible. Imagine a 6ft long seal left dead on a beach for two weeks. Ewwww!
In the end me and my dad took over 5,000 pics and went from Sierra Vista Arizona (A small boarder town in eastern AZ) to Monetary California. Covering well over 3,000 miles in about 9 days.
