I like this picture because I like how fields of tall grass look in the wind. I love how they all the grass sways together and I have always wanted to get a picture of that. I also like how the sky is grey and murky and how the mountains match the color of the grass.

I think this picture is amazing. I found it interesting because I just shot the night assignment and I know how hard it is to shoot at night. I wanted to get a picture like this but it was very cloudy so I didn't get a chance to. I wonder how long his exposure was and how he got the rocks.

I like this picture because it reminds me of the mountains in Utah. i wonder where this lake is, I like the flowers in the corner and how they give this pic a little more color. I like how the reflection of the mountain in the water is directly below the mountain.

I love the blue in this picture. I wonder how big those lakes are because at first I thought that they were very small and then I noticed the trees in the back. I like the effect of the blue mist coming off the water and the orange surrounding the water. I wonder why all of the trees are dead on the side of the hill that Muench was on.

I don't really know why I like this picture so much but I like it. It is interesting how he captures the river going off into the distance and the mist over the rain forest. When you look at the picture closely you can see buildings and farms in the rain forest but the mist kind of covers that up. I like how this picture is very clear at the bottom and fades away towards nothingness at the top.
I like this picture because it shows all of the different bricks. I also like how the boat is just sitting there and isn't the same color as the house. I like ho the door kind of reflects off the water and how old the wood is. One thing that I really like about Muench's photography is his attention to small details that other photographers wouldn't really notice.

One of my favorite thins about Muench is how he captures color. This picture is amazing and I love how you can see the small details on the arch. I like the contrast between red and blue and the small amount of snow on the arch.
I really like this pictur because I like the way it capturs the colors of the flowers and the mountain. In this picture and many others like it David Muench used film processing methods that he created and perfected. Landscape photography is my favorite type of photography to shoot and that is why I chose to write about Muench. I wonder where he took this picture.
